Hello! I'm Eileen and welcome to Oolong & Thread — a cosy little corner of the internet based in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Oolong & Thread started from two things I love: arts and crafts and a really good cup of tea. Cross stitch became my favourite way to slow down after a busy day — a relaxing, screen-free moment with a warm cup of oolong and something creative to work on.
All of the cross stitch designs you’ll find here are original and designed by me. I love creating playful, cute designs that make stitching feel fun and approachable. From sweet Japanese dolls to cheerful foodie designs, each pattern is made to bring a little joy to your stitching time.
Every kit is beginner friendly and includes everything you need to get started. Whether you’re completely new to cross stitch or just picking it up again, you can simply open the kit, thread your needle, and start stitching.
