A famous Chinese tea. Long dark twisted leaves present a robust aroma and a richly fragrant reddish golden infusion. Due to its high firing, the tea tastes smokey at first but quickly rounds out to a rich smooth mellow finish.
Flavour notes: Smoky opening with sweet, fruity, and caramel undertones.
Origin: Grown in the rocky, mineral‑rich slopes of the Wuyi Mountains in Fujian, these semi‑oxidised leaves are lovingly charcoal‑fired by skilled artisans to build their signature complexity and character.
